Good morning, Literacy Fans!
Today is not a literacy post, but a post to send out some blogging basics.
"Why?" you may ask!
Today four Literacy Land ladies will be presenting at the Virginia State Reading Association Conference, and we want to share our presentation with all of our readers!

You can also grab a copy of today's handout, Becoming a Blogger from Carla's from Comprehension Connection's store by clicking {here} or on the image below.
The presentation and handout are so informative! Blogging has broadened my professional learning community. I've grown so much as a teacher through the relationships I've formed with teacher-bloggers across the world. I hope others will take advantage of the "Getting Started" resources you've shared. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Wendy, it has! I have made so many new friends that I can ask questions and get ideas. Such a wonderful community and way to reflect on my own teaching!

Thanks so much, Wendy! I am sure glad we've become friends. I agree with you on teacher growth and learning. So nice to have a go-to group to answer questions and resources with.
DeleteThis was very informative, along with the handout from Comprehension Connection. I'm not ready to blog just yet, but when (or if!) the day comes when I am, this will be a helpful resource. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCarla, if you ever need any help, please feel free to contact any of us! It is a journey that is so much fun and helpful!
